Back in the 1980's Christel Marott created figurines of the twelve astrological signs of the zodiac, capturing the special characteristics of each one.
Royal Copenhagen completed the zodiac collection in 2002-2003 in close collaboration with Christel's daughter, Stine. They are made from unglazed porcelain, otherwise known as bisque and therefore appear matt, pure and velvety.
