We are delighted to be giving you first news of the new and exciting Frogman UK Show Frogs for 2010, Merlin and Flame. For only the second time Tim Cotterill has created two UK Show Frogs in a brand new patina and we are pleased to advise that Mulberry Hall will be hosting our very own Frogman Show on Thursday 23rd September from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
Tim Cotterill, Frogman's founder and sculptor, will be here to meet with you and to personally sign your purchases. Tim who was born in Leicester, is now permanently resident in the United States so this is a unique opportunity and occasion at Mulberry Hall.
The first Show Frog is Merlin (£749). This magical bronze sculpture is an edition size of just 60 worldwide and such a low edition ensures it will be highly sought after. Merlin is the significant statement sculpture in the Frogman Collection and is finished in a very exciting patina created especially for the UK. |
A beautifully lithe rust coloured body with gold highlighting across the contours of his back, teamed with a silver underside and combined with a silver nitrate finish, give Merlin a wonderfully rich lustre.
The second Show Frog is Flame (£195) and has been produced in a worldwide edition of only 260. Also created with the same brand new deep russet patina and sporting a dazzling underbelly, he gazes up in wonderment at the leaping Merlin above him. The perfect accompaniment to Merlin, Flame completes the magic of the 2010 Show Frogs.
Both frogs are only available here for the Show in September. Pre-show orders for both editions, which are sure to sell out, can be placed now in advance and will be accepted on a strictly first come first served basis.
